Part of the Punta Cana Resort and Club, La Cana Golf Club features 27 holes across three nines and includes 14 holes with ocean views. Designed by P.B. Dye, La Cana Golf Course was called the number one course in the Caribbean by Golf Magazine, which has also compared it to Pebble Beach golf course.
Golfers pay for 18 holes and can choose from three nines: Tortuga, Hacienda, and Arrecife. Enjoy ocean views on 14 holes. Each hole presents a different challenge, including mounds and bunkers. The resort also offers extensive training facilities for children and adults as part of their Puntacana Golf Academy, including a double-sided driving range, practice bunkers, putting greens, and chipping and pitching areas. Book your tee time independently or opt for a package that includes transfers from Punta Cana area hotels.

La Cana Golf Course is within the Punta Cana Resort and Club. It’s 3.7 miles (6 kilometers) from Punta Cana and 3.1 miles (5 kilometers) from Punta Cana Airport, operated by the Punta Cana Resort and Club. Some tour packages include transfers from Punta Cana area hotels.
The best time to visit La Cana Golf Course, and for golf generally in the Punta Cana region, is between December and April, which is also high season in the Dominican Republic. Golfers should book their tee times in advance, which you can do up to 365 days before.
