Featuring 128 trails across more than 3,000 acres (1,200 hectares of diverse terrain, Keystone Resort is one of Colorado's premier ski and snowboard destinations. When the snow melts, the mountain is also a popular summertime spot for hiking, biking, horseback riding, and golf. With activities for all ages and weather, it’s a family-friendly Rocky Mountain playground in any season.

You can pack a lot into a day at Keystone Resort. During wintertime, take advantage of the 11.5-hour ski day, with nine trails that stay open late for epic night skiing or snowboarding. Terrain ranges from expansive family-friendly green runs and a tubing hill to expert-level black diamonds and the A51 freestyle terrain park.

In summer and fall, explore the Rocky Mountain wilderness on hiking and biking trails, play 18 holes at one of Keystone's two golf courses, saddle up for a horseback ride, or rent a paddleboat at Lakeside Village. You can also enjoy spectacular mountain views with a ride on a scenic chairlift and even test out some snow action on Colorado’s only summer snow tubing hill.

Keystone Resort is located 90 miles from Denver International Airport. If you don’t want to deal with a rental car, the Epic Mountain Express shuttle runs between DIA and the resort daily.

Keystone is open all year round, and activities vary widely by season. Ski lifts are usually open from mid-December through mid-April, while prime hiking and mountain biking months are June through August. Traffic and crowds are always heavier on the weekends.

Keystone is a great place for families, with a full roster of seasonal activities designed for the young and young at heart. Ski and snowboard lessons starting at age 3 help the whole family spend a day on the slopes, while the resort’s Kidtopia program keeps everybody happy with kid-approved hikes, art projects, face painting, and more.
