The Hurghada Grand Aquarium focuses on the the aquatic wonderland lying offshore. The Hurghada Grand Aquarium celebrates the Red Sea and other marine habitats around the world through a series of 24 galleries with 1 million gallons of marine and fresh water. Visitors can pass through an underwater tunnel, explore an indoor rain forest, learn about Bedouin traditions inside a replica desert tent, or observe wildlife in a mini-zoo. A highlight is the vast Ocean Tank, one of the largest indoor aquatic habitats in the world, home to several hundred fish representing 20 species.

Hurghada Grand Aquarium is set on the waterfront just north of Hurghada, opposite Magawish Village Resort on Safaga Road. The best way to get there is by taxi or organized tour.
Hurghada Grand Aquarium is open daily from morning to evening. Visit before heading out on a snorkeling or scuba diving excursion to learn more about what you’ll see. It’s also a good option for a hot summer afternoon.
