Visitors will even go on the free-fall “Drop” ride, and can try to find their way out of a mirrored labyrinth as part of their time in the Dungeon.   • Children under 8 are not permitted in the Hamburg Dungeon, and the venue is recommended for kids aged 10 and above.
  • Most of the Hamburg Dungeon is wheelchair-accessible, except for the rides; electric wheelchairs cannot be admitted.
  • Pick up souvenirs—and even novelty “torture devices”—at the on-site shop.
  • Personal photography is not permitted in the Dungeon, though visitors can pay for professionally taken snaps in the venue’s Photo Center.

The Hamburg Dungeon is centrally located in the city’s bustling Speicherstadt District. To get there using public transportation, take the S-Bahn lines S1, S2, or S3 to Stadthausbrücke, or take the U-Bahn line U3 to Baumwall or line U4 to Überseequartier. The landmark can also be reached via the #6 or #111 buses, and is readily accessible on foot.

The Hamburg Dungeon is usually open daily from morning until late afternoon, though hours vary seasonally; it is also closed during the Christmas period. Visits last roughly 1.5 hours, and tours leave frequently throughout the day.
