When to get there

Hacienda Coloma is open to guests every day of the week until mid-afternoon, except on select holidays. It’s a year-round attraction, but if you're making a day of it, you might want to avoid the rainy seasons, which run from April–May and October–November, when afternoon showers are common. Hacienda Coloma is a great spot for coffee-themed day trips from the Colombian capital. However, travelers staying in Medellin will find it easier to get to Jardín. This lush town is known for its coffee farms, many open to visitors who want to learn about coffee production and sample some of the freshest coffee possible.
