Great American Ball Park

100 Joe Nuxhall Wy, Cincinnati, Ohio

Home to the Cincinnati Reds baseball team, the Great American Ball Park is a modern sporting venue with nostalgic tributes to the team's history, including nods to Crosley Field, the original home of the Reds. Located along the Ohio River, the ballpark features two distinct smokestacks, which are reminiscent of steamboats that were common on the river in the 19th and early 20th centuries.

In addition to catching a ball game during the season at the Great American Ball Park, guests can get a behind-the-scenes look of the venue, including visiting the dugout, walking on the warning track, and seeing the press box. Plus, the adjacent Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame and Museum explores the team’s history through galleries and multimedia. For families with young kids, there’s the TriHealth Family Zone with a playground, sensory room, nursing suite, lounge area, and more.

  • Backpacks are not permitted in the ballpark, excluding those for medical and infant care purposes. There are also size restrictions for bags.

  • There are accessible seating areas that are equipped with electrical outlets for recharging purposes.

  • All concession stands are cashless.

  • Restrooms have diaper-changing stations and are accessible for guests with disabilities.

The Great American Ball Park is located at the corner of Second Street and Joe Nuxhall Way in downtown Cincinnati. Take the Cincinnati Bell Connector—the city’s free streetcar that runs on a loop—to Station 1 at The Banks, which is steps from the ballpark. Paid parking is located on both the east and west sides.

If you’re interested in catching a game, the Cincinnati Reds regular season runs from April to September. In the off-season from October to March, you can tour the ballpark on Saturdays and Sundays. Tours are not available on certain dates, so check the website for up-to-date availability.

From the Great American Ball Park you can view the John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge, which spans the Ohio River between Cincinnati and Covington, Kentucky. The beloved historic landmark is considered an engineering marvel and is a major thoroughfare in the Midwest. Visitors can walk across the bridge to take in the scenic views.
