Perched at the summit of the Genting Highlands, almost 6,500 feet (2,000 meters) above sea level, the Genting SkyWorlds Theme Park is a leisure and amusement resort in a unique Malaysian setting. Here, amusements, attractions, and rides get a fun twist. Each is designed around themes such as flying Zeppelins in the Robots Rivet Town or a roller coaster bike ride at Eagle Mountain.
Join a day trip from Kuala Lumpur to the Genting Highlands that includes a visit to the Genting SkyWorlds Theme Park. Genting SkyWorlds has a spring-like subtropical highland climate where temperatures can reach about 72°F (22°C) during the day and drop to about 54°F (12°C) at night.

Genting SkyWorlds Theme Park is about one hour from Kuala Lumpur via the Karak Highway. Bus and train services to Genting SkyWorlds are also available from various locations in Klang Valley, Kuala Lumpur International Airport, and even Singapore. The Genting Cable Car runs from Gohtong Jaya to the resort, while the Awana SkyWay connects Awana SkyCentral and SkyAvenue Station. A shuttle service transports you to and from nearby hotels and cable car stations.
Genting SkyWorlds Theme Park is open from mid-morning until early evening every day except for Tuesdays and Malaysian public holidays. Genting Highlands is considered a year-round destination. However, March to September is the best time to visit, as it’s when the area gets the least rain, allowing you to enjoy outdoor rides.
