Copper Belt Winery's tasting room is located in downtown Baker City in Eastern Oregon, about a 2-hour drive from Boise, Idaho, or a 5-hour drive from Portland. Most visitors arrive by car, but you can easily reach the tasting room on foot if you're staying in Baker City.
The winery is open daily, from late morning until early evening. The best time to visit is in the summertime when the climate in Baker City is at its warmest and most pleasant, though fall and spring also boast decent weather. Note that winters in this part of the state get quite cold, so bundle up if you plan to visit.
Copper Belt Winery shares its tasting room with a most appropriate partner: The Cheese Fairy. This cheese shop sells over 100 different artisan cheeses from the US and abroad, plus cheese-and-meat assortment boxes, perfect for pairing with Copper Belt wines.
