Buffalo Bill Museum and Grave is at the top of Lookout Mountain at 987 1/2 Lookout Mountain Rd., reached via I-70 exit 256. The museum displays artifacts of the Old West and depicts the life of William F. Cody, from his job as a Pony Express rider and buffalo hunter to the world's greatest showman. Exhibits include Native American artifacts, antique firearms and Wild West show posters. Hands-on activities for children and Wild West videos also are offered. A large observation deck provides a spectacular view of the Denver metropolitan area and the Colorado Rockies. Changing exhibits are presented. Food is available.
