Buddy Holly Center is at 1801 Crickets Ave. A guitar-shaped gallery chronicles the life and music of Lubbock native Buddy Holly. The depot also houses the Foyer Gallery and the Fine Arts Gallery, which offer changing exhibits by local, regional and national artists. The J. I. Allison House, teenage home to The Crickets' drummer, is where he and Buddy Holly wrote "That'll Be the Day." Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
