First Peoples Buffalo Jump State Park is off I-15 exit 270, then 3.5 mi. w. on Ulm-Vaughn Rd. The park preserves one of the largest known buffalo jump sites and interprets the buffalo culture. Exhibits depict how Native Americans hunted bison by stampeding them over the cliffs. Featured are several mounted buffalo, implements fashioned from buffalo remains and a furnished tepee made of buffalo hides. Interpretive trails to the cliffs and grasslands are available. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
