Your Trip Itinerary
Your adventure begins in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and ends in Rapid City, South Dakota. The members-only tour price includes attraction fees, 10 meals (three dinners and seven breakfasts) and stays at hotels for all seven nights. Your tour manager will coordinate moving your luggage from hotel to hotel, and if you choose to book your flights with AAA, round-trip airport transfers by private sedan will be included at no extra charge.Below is the daily itinerary for America’s Cowboy Country:
Day 1: Jackson Hole
Your tour begins in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Explore the Old West town on your own, then rest up at SpringHill Suites by Marriott Jackson Hole, a AAA Three Diamond hotel.
Day 2: Grand Teton National Park
You’ll be treated to breakfast, then spend the day on a Grand Tetons tour before returning to downtown Jackson Hole. In the evening, enjoy a warm welcome with a chuck wagon dinner and Wild West entertainment.

Day 3: Yellowstone National Park and Cody
After breakfast, you’ll visit Yellowstone National Park to see wildlife and landmarks like Old Faithful and Yellowstone Lake. Dinner is included in the evening, and your day ends in the Wild West town of Cody, Wyoming.

Day 4: Cody and Sheridan
While in Cody, you’ll choose between an educational visit to the Buffalo Bill Center of the West or Heart Mountain Interpretive Center. Your day ends in Sheridan, Wyoming, a town rich in Native American history.

Day 5: Deadwood and Rapid City
In Deadwood you’ll visit the gravesites of Wild Bill Hickok and Calamity Jane at Mount Moriah Cemetery (Boot Hill) and learn all about the Lakota people at Kevin Costner’s Tatanka: Story of the Bison. Your day ends on the eastern edge of the Black Hills in Rapid City, South Dakota.

Day 6: Custer State Park and Mount Rushmore
Today brings you to Custer State Park, where you’ll get a chance to see a massive herd of free-roaming bison. On the way to Mount Rushmore National Memorial, you’ll stop at the Crazy Horse Memorial, said to be the world’s largest mountain sculpture still in progress.

Day 7: Badlands National Park
You’ll spend your last full day in Badlands National Park, where you’ll see impressive rock formations and colorful mineral deposits, then pay a visit to Wall Drug Store, a popular tourist stop. In the evening you’ll be treated to a farewell dinner with a member of the Lakota Native American tribe.
