Antique shopping is popular in Port Orchard. Olde Central Antique Mall, 801 Bay St., has more than 40 dealers. Port Orchard Public Market, 715 Bay St., is a year-round indoor market.The Port Orchard Farmers Market has a waterfront backdrop in Marina Park and is held Saturdays 9-3 from April to mid-October. The market features locally grown Kitsap Peninsula fruits and vegetables, flowers and plants as well as locally caught fish. An especially scenic way to get there is to take Washington State Ferries to the Bremerton ferry dock, then the Kitsap Transit Foot Ferry to the Port Orchard dock.
