You are bound to have an “egg-citing” time at the 4-day celebration known as the World Chicken Festival, held in London each September. The festival honors Colonel Harland Sanders, who opened his first restaurant in nearby Corbin in the 1940s. Folks come each year to see the world's largest skillet, the Gospel Egg-stravaganza, the parade and live entertainment, volleyball tournament, midway-style rides and car show.Phone (606) 878-6900 for event information.
