Many of Nashville's attractions are easily reached by taking the Nashville Express Trains, which offer 2.5-mile narrated tours.

Just south of Nashville on SR 46 is Brown County State Park, Indiana's largest state park. A popular destination for picnicking, hiking, mountain biking, camping, fishing and horseback riding, the park features some 20 miles of scenic roads; autumn foliage is especially dramatic. Nearby Yellowwood State Forest was named for a flowering hardwood tree that rarely grows in the north.
