Vandalia
The Little Brick House, 621 Saint Clair, is a simple 19th-century Italianate residence decorated with furnishings of the capital period, 1820-39. Displays feature memorabilia associated with important political and artistic figures from Illinois' early history, including Illinois writer James Hall, artist James Berry and Abraham Lincoln. The house is open by appointment; phone (618) 283-4866.
