DESTINATION

Rexburg

In June 1976 the nearby Teton Dam collapsed, sending 8 billion gallons of flood water into the valley below. To see the site, travel 20 miles northeast on SR 33.

Rexburg plays host to the Idaho International SummerFest in July. The Centennial Carousel, which took 5 years to restore, is in Porter Park. Located at 2nd West 2nd South in downtown Rexburg, the park offers picnic tables; a playground; and recreational facilities for volleyball, tennis and basketball.
