Red, Hot & Boom , a huge Independence Day celebration, is held every July 3 at Cranes Roost Park (274 Cranes Roost Blvd.). More than 100,000 revelers pack the park for music by live bands topped off with a spectacular fireworks display. The beautifully landscaped park includes a 1-mile path around a lake populated with ducks and turtles, as well as an amphitheater with stadium seating.
