Jagged peaks, glacial valleys and aspen-covered slopes provide a scenic backdrop for golfing, mountain biking and hiking. Three miles from Crested Butte, the resort community of Mt. Crested Butte has become a center for recreation, especially skiing, snowboarding, tubing, mountain biking, hiking and horseback riding in Gunnison National Forest.
