The log Presbyterian church that Nisbet built that year stands in Kinsmen Park, on the west side of Central Avenue between 22nd and 28th streets W. A blockhouse next to the church dates from the Northwest Rebellion/Métis Resistance of 1885. The Historical Museum occupies the site of the church built by Nisbet.
