The St-Raphaël Church (Église St-Raphaël), 2381 St-Jean-Baptiste, has no walls; instead, the copper roof rises 19.4 metres (64 ft.) from the ground, supporting itself and enclosing the space. The modernistic church reflects the province's revival of religious architecture during the 1960s. The National Exhibition Centre , 4160 rue du Vieux Pont, offers three small exhibit halls with rotating displays of contemporary art. Admission is free; phone (418) 546-2177.
