Caraquet

This picturesque and culturally vibrant community is headquarters for a huge fishing fleet. The Blessing of the Fleet is one of the popular events that take place during the Festival acadien de Caraquet the first half of August. This cultural festival draws thousands of attendees who come to see performances by more than 200 Acadian musicians, singers, dancers and storytellers.
