Blackwater Falls State Park

Blackwater Falls State Park is at 1584 Blackwater Lodge Rd. The scenic Blackwater Falls are 57 feet high, and the gorge below is more than 525 feet deep. An observation point is on the gorge's rim; stairways descend to the foot of the falls. A nature center is open Memorial Day to Labor Day. Recreational activities include cross-country skiing, paddleboating, hiking, picnicking, swimming, tennis, bicycling, sledding, volleyball and nature programs. Campgrounds are available last week in April through October 31; cabins and lodge facilities are available all year.

Recreational activities are permitted. Camping is permitted. Picnicking is permitted. Food is available.
