Spokane Valley Heritage Museum is 1.2 mi. s. of I-90 exit 289 on Pines Rd., then 1 blk. w. to 12114 E. Sprague Ave. The museum—housed in the 1912 Opportunity Township Hall building—presents rotating exhibits focusing on events that have shaped the landscape and economy of Spokane Valley, from Ice Age floods and Native American hunters and gatherers to agricultural, industrial and commercial activities. Changing exhibits revolve around national themes.
