Schultz Pass Road

Schultz Pass Road (FR 420) leads n. off US 180 and offers a scenic drive through Schultz Pass between the San Francisco Peaks and Elden Mountain. Travelers may also access the road via bicycle and horseback, often catching a glimpse of such resident animals as mule deer and elk.

Note: Portions of the road may be closed due to fire activity or inclement weather; snow closes the road during winter months. Passenger vehicles are not permitted during these conditions.
