You will be delighted with the scenes of the most beautiful PLITVICE lakes, a UNESCO World Heritage Site! Experience one of the oldest national parks in southeast Europe, which is famous for its 16 lakes connected by a series of waterfalls. The national park is world famous for its lakes arranged in cascades.These lakes are a result of the confluence of several small rivers and subterranean karst rivers. 18km of wooden footbridges and pathways gives you an opportunity to explore 16 interconnected lakes arranged in cascades. This heavily forested park hides 75 endemic plants,55 different species of orchids,160 bird species and even bears and wolfs! On the way, you will stop at Rastoke ethno village. With its well-preserved mills and picturesque little waterfalls Rastoke Ethno village, often referred to as 'Little Plitvice', makes a great place to prepare yourself for the magnificence of Plitvice Lakes National Park. If you are in Zagreb, this should be at the TOP of your list!!

- Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level. The tour includes prox. 5km of walking on uneven surfaces -please wear comfortable walking shoes (we visit highlights of both, the Lower Lakes and the Upper Lakes).
- Children must be accompanied by an adult. Not recommended for child aged 3 and under
- Not recommended for participant with walking disabilities.
- Depending on the weather conditions some parts of the park may be restricted
