SCENIC BYWAY

Paradise Valley Scenic Highway

55.9 miles: 1 hours, 2 minutes

The Paradise Valley Scenic Highway (US 89) journeys through the Yellowstone River Valley in southern Montana from Livingston to the north entrance to Yellowstone National Park. The Absaroka and Gallatin mountain ranges border the byway, creating sweeping vistas of distant blue mountains rising from the green fields and forests.

Snow-capped peaks form a backdrop to the wide, grassy hills of Paradise Valley as you journey alongside the sparkling Yellowstone River on US-89. Known for world-class fly-fishing, the Yellowstone is the longest free-flowing river in the contiguous United States. At Gardiner, the Roosevelt Arch marks the original entrance to Yellowstone National Park.
