47.5 miles: 0 hours, 48 minutes

This breathtaking jaunt through Mount Robson Provincial Park reveals views of sky-piercing mountains, serene lakes and acres of plush forests teeming with wildlife. The dizzying summit of Mount Robson, the tallest peak in the Canadian Rockies, caresses drifting clouds as the rushing waters of the Fraser River carve a path next to Yellowhead Scenic Highway/Hwy. 16.

Drive right next to the Fraser River for the whole journey along Hwy. 16 in Mount Robson Provincial Park; pass lakes Yellowhead and Moose and snow-topped giant Mount Robson. Marmots, moose, bears and mountain goats slip through dense forests of spruce, cedar and firs on both sides of the road; use binoculars to get up-close views.
