Location Excellent

This was a lovely, small hotel in a great location on Frischman Beach. There are other much larger hotels around it, which I can't speak to. But Prima was very well run, great staff members that were ready to help with any problem. The location was excellent! The neighborhood always felt safe to walk in. To reach the promenade and beach is maybe 600 ft. The beach is kept very clean, lots of free access to chaise lounges and showers, and the Mediterranean waters are clear enough to see fish! Promenade is a great place for a run--it's a 5K round trip to Old Jaffa to the south, or to the north end of the promenade. There are also several small groceries, pharmacies and convenience stores within walking distance. Lots of street-front food vendors nearby, as well as fine restaurants along the beach or a bit further walk to the DIzengoff circle area. I also had a very enjoyable longer walk through the beautiful neighborhoods in the "White City" area. The bus system is very reasonable, great schedules, and took me anywhere I wanted to go in the city. I was able to catch a bus to/from my business in Tel Aviv business district from across the street or at several nearby locations. Also, I easily connected by bus to the train station for a day trip into Jerusalem. The hotel lobby is small, not luxurious but comfortable, and there is a small bar with a computerized espresso machine that works well and is very convenient when you are in a hurry. Appetizers were provided in the evening, and there is a nice balcony off the lobby for observing people along the street and down to the beach. My room was simple but charming modern decor and kept quite clean. The coffee bar in the room was always kept stocked, as were bathroom amenities. Towels and cups were changed daily. The shower doors had a rubber seal instead of a sill and leaked a bit, but keeping a towel on the floor when showering dealt with that problem. I would definitely stay here again if/when I return to Tel Aviv.
