Guest rooms are spread across several buildings, each with comfortable bedding, a good-size desk and easy chair. One building, resembling a tree house or a complex of bungalows, is directly on the oceanfront, affording up-close-and-personal views of the water. Some one- and two-bedroom apartments are available, and can be made even larger by adding on a connecting room. They’re great for families or anyone planning an extended stay. The expansive beach bar and restaurant is a popular gathering spot to watch sunsets. Thatched umbrellas shade lounge chairs along the beach adjacent to the pool. A museum is on site, housed in the converted home of Simon Bolivar, liberator of South America. Smoke free premises. 157 units, some two bedrooms, three bedrooms, efficiencies and kitchens. 2-4 stories (no elevator), interior/exterior corridors.
