Electric yellow penguins populate public areas and have even been known to move into guest rooms. A counterpoint to all these modern features may be found in the corner suites, which are adorned with window blinds that feature historic daguerreotypes of the 19th century Cincinnati waterfront. Another traditional feature may be found in the restaurant, which has an impressive flaming brick hearth that would have been a perfect feature for a 19th century Ohio stagecoach tavern.
