Westcott House
85 S. Greenmount Ave., Springfield, OH, 45505
Westcott House, 85 S. Greenmount Ave. (visitor center entrance), was designed for the prominent Westcott family by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1906 and construction was completed in 1908. In the 1940s the home was altered into an apartment building, completely changing the original design. In 2005 a five-year restoration was completed, and the house once again reflects Wright's design. The house is Wright's only use of Prairie Style architecture in Ohio. One-hour tours begin with a brief video about the house's history and restoration. Note: To protect the house's floors, guests should wear flat shoes. Guided tours are available.
