Wekiwa Springs State Park is off Wekiwa Springs Road at 1800 Wekiwa Cir. The main spring of this 7,725-acre park sends more than 42 million gallons of water daily into the Wekiva River. Swimming is permitted in the main spring pool which maintains a constant temperature between 68 and 72 degrees Fahrenheit. Canoe, kayak and paddleboat rentals are available. Other features include 13 miles of trails for hiking and biking, camping facilities, picnic pavilions, a horseshoe pit, a playground, a volleyball court and a nature center with exhibits. Pet friendly (call for restrictions/fees.). Recreational activities are permitted. Camping is permitted. Picnicking is permitted. Food is available. Time: Allow 2 hours minimum.
