Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is at 751 Erieside Ave. at jct. E. 9th St. The giant 150,000-square-foot space is dedicated to the living legacy of music, from Delta blues, early rock and roll and soul to classic rock, hip-hop and alternative styles. A large collection of images, artifacts and instruments from current performers, Hall of Fame inductees and other legends is imaginatively presented. Visitors can listen to the songs that shaped rock and roll, a sample of the most popular and influential recordings in the history of the genre. Inside the Hall of Fame gallery, in addition to an exhibit featuring the current class of inductees, visitors will also find The Power of Rock Experience featuring induction performance clips using moving screens, concert lighting and shaking seats. To help achieve its mission to engage, teach and inspire through the power of rock and roll, the museum offers live concert events, community festivals and educational programs. Food is available. Time: Allow 3 hours minimum.
