Olympos Cable Car (Olympos Teleferik)

Setting out from the foothills of Tahtali Mountain, the Olympos Cable Car takes around 10 minutes to reach the top, where an open-air panoramic viewing terrace looks out over the mountain landscapes. Olympos Cable Car tours often include hotel pickup and round-trip transport from Antalya or Kemer. One-way tickets are also available, allowing adventurous travelers to hike back down the mountain, and paragliding is possible on the mountain from May to November.

The Olympos Cable Car is about an hour south of Antalya by car, just off the D400 coastal road. Regular buses run to Kemer, from which shuttle buses continue the 4.5 miles (7 kilometers) to the cable car substation.

The cable car runs all year and is worth revisiting in different seasons to admire the changing landscapes—the snow-covered mountains are magical in winter, while a clear summer morning means increased visibility and a prime view of the lush mountain forests.

The Olympos Cable Car is located in Beydaglari Coastal National Park, a popular spot for outdoor activities including trekking, mountain biking, and climbing. Scenic hiking trails link the park’s ancient ruins—the remains of the cities of Phaselis, Idyros, and Olympos—and it’s also possible to hike along part of the Lycian Way, one of Turkey’s (officially the Republic of Türkiye) most famous long-distance hiking routes.
