National Museum of Nuclear Science & History is at 601 Eubank Blvd. S.E. The nation's official museum for the history and science of the Nuclear Age features replicas of the world's first two atomic weapons, Little Boy and Fat Man. Exhibits cover such topics as atomic theory, the Cold War, pioneers in nuclear science, uranium processing, radiation facts and the testing of the first atomic bomb. A hands-on physics lab for children also is available. Numerous airplanes and other large artifacts are installed in Heritage Park. Films relating to the history of nuclear development are shown daily. Time: Allow 2 hours minimum.
