Purchase your ticket in advance, then go to the zoo on a day that works for you. Public pelican, primate, and otter feedings take place daily—an optional upgrade gives you access to the lemur lunchtime. Spot exotic creatures as you wander by carefully curated habitats, then head to the petting farm for close encounters with domestic species. Finally, conclude your visit with dinner in the on-site Portuguese restaurant.

It’s worth renting a car or booking a taxi to travel from Lagos with ease. Alternatively, take a public ONDA (green line) or EVA bus—or use the Lagos Zoo transfer service that operates in summer only.
The zoo is open year-round, with extended summer hours. The animal feedings happen just before midday, then later in the afternoon, so no need to get there too early. The restaurant is closed on Monday.
