Carriage Hill MetroPark is off I-70 exit 38, 1 mi. n. on SR 201, then .5 mi. e. on E. Shull Rd. Farm life in the 1880s is showcased here with historical buildings, a blacksmith shop, a country store, farm animals and interactive displays in the visitor center. There also are scenic woodlands, meadows, a lake and a pond, providing opportunities for fishing, hiking, horseback riding and cross-country skiing. Recreational activities are permitted. Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
