You can explore Budikovac only during the day when boats are running, as there is no place to stay overnight on the island. Summer is the most popular time to visit, but late spring and early autumn are still warm enough to swim, and tend to be quieter than the high season.
Budikovac Island has its lovely Blue Lagoon, but the surrounding islands also have natural attractions worth visiting. The picturesque Stiniva Cove on Vis has a narrow beach between two giant cliffs. Blue Cave on the island of Bisevo is a grotto that glows blue at certain times of day. Hvar Island has a lively town and historical buildings perched around its wide port.
