Aside from offering a wide range of recreational activities, walking trails and playing fields, Fort Borst Park includes several historical sites. Located at the confluence of the Skookumchuck and Chehalis rivers, the 101-acre park occupies land homesteaded by Joseph Borst; the Borsts were among the first pioneer families to settle this area in the 1850s.

Shopping

The Centralia Outlets, on both sides of I-5 exit 82, has more than 25 stores. Antique stores are along Tower Avenue, downtown between Locust and Maple streets. Dealers sell their wares at the Centralia Square Antique Mall, 201 S. Pearl St.; phone (360) 736-6406.
