Sackets Harbor
The Old Military Cemetery on Dodge Avenue has graves of soldiers from the War of 1812, including that of Gen. Zebulon Pike, discoverer of Pikes Peak.
Seaway Trail Discovery Center , in an 1871 limestone building at Ray and W. Main streets, serves as an orientation center for the scenic 518-mile Seaway Trail, which stretches from New York to Pennsylvania along Lake Erie, the Niagara River, Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River. The center has exhibits, a mural and driving maps; the trail is marked with interpretive signs; phone (315) 646-1000.
