Thousand Islands National Park

General Information

Access to the park by private vehicle is available only at the Mallorytown Landing entrance. Day use facilities are open 8-4:30, Victoria Day weekend through the second Monday in October. The Visitor Centre is open daily, mid-June through Labour Day, weekends and holidays, mid-May to mid-June. Interpretive programs and hikes are conducted periodically on the mainland and on the islands. Transportation to the islands is not available from the park; visitors must hire or supply their own boats. Recreational activities include camping, boating, fishing, hiking, sea kayaking and scuba diving.

PETS

PETS are permitted in the park only if they are leashed; they are not permitted in the beach area.
