DESTINATION

St. Albert

St. Albert lays claim to western Canada's largest outdoor farmers market, which operates every Saturday mid-June to early October, as well as a vibrant arts community. The town also boasts both natural and man-made outdoor features, including Big Lake, just west of Ray Gibbon Drive, and the Woodlands Water Play Park, a small interactive water playground at 165 Sturgeon Rd.

The St. Albert Kinsmen Rainmaker Rodeo & Exhibition takes place the fourth weekend in May. The International Children's Festival —a showcase for performers in theater, music, dance, storytelling and puppetry—is traditionally held the weekend after the rodeo.
