Old Faithful

Old Faithful is on the main park road between Madison and West Thumb, just beyond the Old Faithful Inn. Though not quite as predictable as its name suggests, this 120-foot waterspout erupts every 80-90 minutes. A paved walkway and benches surround the cone geyser, keeping visitors about 300 feet away from the massive spray. Daily geyser predictions are posted at the Old Faithful Visitor Education Center and the lodge.
