Vedauwoo

Vedauwoo is 17 mi. s.e. via I-80 exit 329. The recreation area takes its name from the Arapaho Native American word meaning “earth born spirits.” The picnic and camping areas are marked by rock formations developed during the ice age and rounded by weathering. Both expert and novice rock climbers practice their skills on the rocks.
