Hamlin Garland Homestead

Hamlin Garland Homestead is at 357 W. Garland St. The house, purchased by Garland in 1893 as a residence for his mother, has been restored as a memorial to this winner of a 1922 Pulitzer Prize. Of particular note is the upstairs study where Garland did much of his writing.
