Sheboygan Indian Mound Park

Sheboygan Indian Mound Park (Kletzien Mound Group) is just s. of Panther Ave. at 5000 S. 9th St. Native American burial mounds in the park are shaped like panthers and deer. Dating from A.D. 500 to 1000, this is one of the few mound groups still intact. A nature trail leads to the lush valley of Hartman Creek, where both upland and lowland plant communities are identified.
