Cheat Mountain Salamander

Cheat Mountain Salamander departs from the depot at 315 Railroad Ave. A 9-hour, 128-mile round-trip train ride takes passengers through the rugged, scenic Cheat Mountains. The tracks run through spruce forests and an "S" curve tunnel, passing rock walls along Shavers Fork River. There are layovers at Cheat Bridge and High Falls of the Cheat and Spruce. Lunch is included.
