Youth Museum of Southern West Virginia & Mountain Homestead

Youth Museum of Southern West Virginia & Mountain Homestead, 509 Ewart Ave. in New River Park, features a planetarium, a puzzle room and changing exhibits on science, history and the arts.

The Mountain Homestead features an Appalachian pioneer village complete with a log house and barn, a one-room schoolhouse, a weaver's shed, a blacksmith shop, a moonshine still and a country store.
