Historic Flight Foundation
AAA Editor Notes
Historic Flight Foundation is on the w. side of Paine Field, off Mukilteo Speedway (SR 525) to 10719 Bernie Webber Dr., following signs. The foundation collects and restores aircraft from the period between Charles Lindbergh's solo Atlantic crossing (1927) and the first Boeing 707 flight (1957). The hangar displays such meticulously restored aircraft as a DH89 Dragon Rapide, a North American P-51B Mustang and a Waco UPF-7.
Interpretive displays describe each plane's history, and visitors can take advantage of interactive kiosks and video displays that include a 360-degree cockpit view and footage of the aircraft in flight. Guided 30-minute tours are available by request.
Guided tours are available. Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
